It’s Labor Day weekend, the unofficial end of summer. Indulge yourself with some arts and leisure before the grind starts up again in earnest. MOVIES

“THE LIGHT Between Oceans” opens this weekend.

No blockbusters out this week. Here’s what is opening in local cinemas starting Friday.

EVENTS

The biggest Labor Day weekend isn’t properly in our coverage area, but it’s very close. That’s the International Street Fair in downtown Orange. This year’s theme is “Travel With Tastebuds,” and food from all over the world will be featured in the streets radiating from the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Glassell Street. Hours are 5-10 p.m. on Friday, 10- a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free, but be prepared to walk several blocks to park and get to the fun.
