It’s a week of swearings-in, as local city councils seat new and re-elected city officials.

On Monday at 6 p.m., the Huntington Beach City Council will convene to not only seat two new members, but also select a new mayor.

Re-elected to another four-year term was Jill Hardy. New council members are Patrick Brendan and Lyn Semeta. Also to be sworn in will be City Clerk Robin Estanislau and City Treasurer Alisa Cutchen. The council meets in its chambers at Huntington Beach City Hall, 2000 Main St. (at Yorktown Avenue).

The council will meet in the A&B rooms of the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. (at Euclid Street).
