LOCAL HIGH school teams won nine of 14 contests Tuesday night.
Local high school teams won nine of 14 games played Tuesday night. All of the contests involving teams from the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area were non-league and tournament games. League play generally will begin in January.

The top scorers Tuesday among boys were Kenan Hilman of Marina with 24 points and Andrew Brown of Pacifica with 22 points. Among girls the leaders were Frankie Wade Sanchez of Huntington Beach (25) and Andie Krisinat of Edison (16).
