RANCHO had a big fourth quarter surge to defeat Santa Ana Valley 64-63 on Tuesday.
A big fourth quarter was the key to a close win by Rancho Alamitos over Santa Ana Valley 64-63 in a nonleague boys’ basketball game Tuesday night at the Vaquero gym. Matthew Bautista led Rancho with 26 points, followed by Tommy Tran with 17 more.
The Falcons held a lead until the final eight minutes, when they were outscored by The Ranch 27-17 to pull out the victory.
