“FIFTY SHADES DARKER” stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in an R-rated sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey,” opening Friday.
Musical theater, movies, a parade and a march through history will highlight entertainment events in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster this weekend. And while it may rain a bit on Friday, the weather will clear up with some cloudiness on Saturday and good sunshine on Sunday.

- “Fifty Shades Darker.” A sequel to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” continues the story of kinky sex and business. Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan star. Rated R.
- “The Lego Batman Movie.” Animated light-hearted action adventure film featuring the blocky toy version of The Dark Knight. Voices include Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, and Ralph Fiennes. Rated PG.
- “John Wick: Chapter 2.” A hit man (Keanu Reeves) is called out of retirement to shoot someone. Imagine that! Also starring Claudia Gerini and Laurence Fishburne. Rated R.
“Follies – In Concert” opens Friday at the Gem Theater on Main Street in Garden Grove. One More Productions is staging this concert version of the musical complete with live 20-piece orchestra. Damien Lorton directs this 9th Annual Hearts For the Arts fundraiser. Performances are Fridays through Sundays Feb. 10-12 and 17-19. For more information, go to www.onemoreproductions.com .

Fun stuff to do and/or watch this weekend include:
- Two days of re-enactment of scenes from the American Revolution will be presented Saturday and Sunday in Huntington Beach’s Central Park. Events will include “battles” between the Continental Army and British redcoats, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, 18th century dancing, drill and more. - West Garden Grove Youth Baseball Opening Day Parade, a tradition for that part of the city, will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday in front of Edgar Park, 12781 Topaz St. From there a procession of Little League and youth softball teams, along with city, school and other officials and other local celebs will head to Bell Intermediate School, 12345 Springdale St. Closed from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. will be several streets, with the major impact on Lampson Avenue (between Valley View Street to Lamplighter Street) and Springdale Street (from Stanford to Belgrave avenues.
