Tuesday’s action set up a battle for first place in the Garden Grove League for baseball. La Quinta, Garden Grove and Santiago all posted wins, with the first league showdown coming on Friday when second place Garden Grove (6-4 overall, 3-1 in league) hosts first place La Quinta (8-3, 4-0) at 3 p.m.
In the GGL race, after La Quinta and Grove, Los Amigos and Santiago are tied for third at 2-2 , with Rancho Alamitos slipping to fifth at 1-3 and Bolsa Grande sixth at 0-4).
