The Los Angeles Angels have had trouble for all of this still-young 2017 season putting together good pitching and good hitting at the same time. They did just enough of that on Saturday as they defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 in Anaheim.
Mike Trout had a single and a double to raise his average to .343. Singleton had a single to go with his round-tripper to up his to .288.
The Angels will send Daniel Wright to the mound on Sunday.
