Light agendas will greet the city councils of Garden Grove and Westminster when they meet this week.
The Garden Grove council’s public session convenes on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in chambers in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. Topping the agenda are:
- a public hearing on a proposed ordinance changing the city codes regarding water use in landscaping;
- adoption of a resolution authorizing an application for a grant to operate a community residential care facility at 12781 Josephine St.
The Westminster council’s public session starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the chambers at 8200 Westminster Blvd. Significant items include;
- consideration of an interim urgency ordinance regarding accessory dwelling units – smaller second dwellings on a residential lot – in accordance with new state law
- a request to the council to provide direction to city staff regarding temporary sign and window sign regulations.
