Woman is killed in hit-and-run crash

A WOMAN was killed in an apparent hit-and-run accident on Wednesday morning in Huntington Beach.

UPDATE: The woman killed in the Wednesday morning traffic accident in Huntington Beach has been identified. According to the HBPD, she is Tina Boring, 53, of Huntington Beach.

An investigation is underway into a fatal hit-and-run accident that took place in Huntington Beach on Wednesday morning.

According to Sgt. Julio Mendez of the HBPD’s traffic unit, the incident was reported at 12:40 a.m. in the area of Seapoint Drive, north of Palm Avenue.

Arriving officers found the body of a woman lying in the street.

Investigators believe that a vehicle traveling north on Seapoint from Palm struck the woman in the roadway and fled the area.

There’s no suspect information and the woman has not been identified.
