AN ARMED robber held up a gas station-minimart on Brookhurst Street in Garden Grove early Thursday morning.

An armed robbery hit a gas station and minimart in Garden Grove early Thursday morning. According to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the GGPD, the incident took place at about 3 a.m. at the Arco facility at 13482 Brookhurst St.

An employee there told police two men entered the business with their faces covered. One was armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspects were given merchandise and an unknown amount of money and fled the store.

The suspects are described as black males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, and with bandanas covering their faces. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the GGPD at (714) 741-5704.
