EIGHT LOCAL basketball teams are ranked by the CIF-SS this week.

Eight local high school basketball teams and four other winter sports squads were ranked in polls this week by the CIF-SS.

Here are the teams serving the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area in the polls released Tuesday afternoon, by division.

Boys’ basketball

• 3AA: Ocean View, sixth
• 4AA: Santiago 8th, Pacifica 9th
• 4A: Orangewood Academy, tied for 16th
• 5AAA: Garden Grove first, La Quinta 8th, Orange 10th.

Girls’ basketball

• 2AA: Westminster 14th

Wrestling

• Coastal Division: Edison, tied for 10th

Boys’ soccer

• 1: Edison, tied for 10th

Girls’ water polo

• 1&2: Huntington Beach, 16th.
• 7: Los Amigos, second.
