Sigh. The Los Angeles Angels lost another game Tuesday night. They fell behind early. It was their seventh loss in eight games. They pulled the starter after one inning. They used six relievers. They still lost.
Carlos Gonzalez hit a two-run first inning home and the visitors won it with a run in the top of timilahe seventh. The Halos scored once in the fifth and once in the seventh.
David Fletcher was again the standout on offense with three hits. Albert Pujols had a pair of singles and a run-scoring sacrifice fly.
Starter Noe Ramirez (4-5), who had a save in Monday’s win over Colorado, took the loss.
The Angels will be idle on Wednesday and begin a long road trip on Thursday visiting the Houston Astros.
