On Tuesday night the Stanton City Council voted 5-0 to approve a contract for Hall, who will work on a part-time basis while the city begins recruiting for a full-time permanent city manager.

“Robert ‘Bob’ Hall is exactly the kind of person we need to help the City of Stanton during this time of transition,” said Mayor David Shawver. “His wealth of experience in municipal government will be of great service to [the] city council, city staff and our community.”

In addition to his stint with Fountain Valley, Hall worked for Huntington Beach as assistant city manager and Riverside as general services director.
