Pacifica High’s boys’ water polo team continued its 26-game winning streak with an 11-8 win victory over La Habra High on Wednesday. The contest was played at the Splash Aquatic Center in La Mirada.
The Mariners won the CIF-SS Division 6 title last season and are aiming for another title for with six wins in six starts so far in 2018. Pacifica was 25-4 last year and won the Empire League crown. PHS defeated Buena Park 9-8 in the CIF final last year.
