ANDREW COGLIANO scored a goal in Sunday’s loss to the Jets, and was traded to the Dallas Stars for Devin Shore.
How bad can it get? The Anaheim Ducks suffered their 11th straight loss on Sunday night, falling 4-3 in overtime to the Winnipeg Jets in Manitoba.
The loss put the team record at 19-18-9, good for 47 points. That drops them into a fourth place tie with the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL Pacific.
In an effort to shake things up, the Ducks traded left wing Andrew Cogliano to the Dallas Stars for Devin Shore.
On Sunday, the Anaheim team jumped out to a 2-0 first quarter lead on goals by Brian Gibbons and Rikard Rakell and extended the lead to 3-1 on a second period tally by Cogliano, his third score of the season.
But the Jets rallied with one goal in the second and another in the third to send the game into overtime. Bryan Little won it with a goal with 10 seconds left in extra time, his 10th goal of 2018-19.
Next up for the Ducks will be a game Tuesday in Detroit against the Red Wings (17-23-7).
