Three hurt in crash at Warner/Edwards

Three people were injured and electrical power knocked out after an accident Saturday evening in Huntington Beach.

According to the HB Fire Department, the crash occurred at Warner Avenue and Edwards Street around 5:30 p.m. Arriving personnel found that one vehicle had crashed into a building, and another – a truck – was overturned with electrical wires on top and two people trapped within.

The pair was extracted from the upside-down truck by firefighters; three people were taken to nearby trauma centers for treatment. The power pole was stabilized and the area of Warner and Edwards was closed to traffic during the rescues and aftermath.

  1. We can all thank the good Lord Jesus that everyone walked away alive. It was amazing that those two guys walked out alive onto the gurneys! No one thought they made it.

  2. This event actually started on Edinger at Goldenwest. One of the vehicles rear ended a car and evaded the accident. Driving recklessly on Goldenwest, Heil and then Edwards before the two vehicles slammed into each other, flipping the truck and sending the other automobile into the apartment across the street on Edward’s at Warner.
