A dozen people – some of them possibly illegal aliens – arrived in Huntington Beach on Monday, and they didn’t come through a fence or wall.
The Associated Press reported that nine Chinese men, a Chinese woman and two Mexican men are in federal custody. The boat approached the shore by traveling through Anaheim Bay in Seal Beach, which is U.S. Navy property.
Wednesday is “Mother’s Love Day” at supermarket
The Mother’s Market & Kitchen in Huntington Beach will donate five percent of its sales Wednesday to the non-profit Surfrider Foundation, as part of the chain’s “Mother’s Love 5% Days” observed across Orange County.
Stores in Anaheim Hills, Costa Mesa and Irvine held their events earlier in the month. The Huntington Beach store is located at 19770 Beach Blvd. (between Yorktown and Adams Avenue) in the Newland Center.
