FIFTEEN local high school basketball teams will enter the CIF-SS playoffs this week.
Fifteen local high school basketball teams – eight boys and seven girls – will be on the court this week for the CIF-SS basketball playoffs.
Girls’ first round games will be on Thursday and boys’ on Friday.
Here are the pairings for teams from schools serving Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster.
BOYS
- Division 1: Santa Margarita at Edison
- Division 3-A: Pacifica at El Dorado, Westminster at Palos Verdes
- Division 3-AA: St. Francis at Marina; Murrieta Valley at Ocean View.
- Division 4-A: Valley Torah at La Quinta.
- Division 4-AA: St. Margaret at Garden Grove, Portola at Santiago.
GIRLS
- Division 2-A: Westminster at Arcadia
- Division 2-AA: Canyon/Anaheim at Huntington Beach, Dana Hills at Orangewood Academy.
- Division 3-A: Garden Grove at San Juan Hills.
- Division 4-A: Santa Ana Valley at Santiago; Rancho Alamitos at Anaheim.
- Division 4-AA: Fountain Valley at La Quinta.
