Jordan Camino hit a walk-off two-run double to lift Garden Grove High’s baseball team to a 2-1 victory over Portola High on Wednesday.
Jesse Magdelano threw a one-hitter for Argonauts, working seven innings and striking out six batters. The win lifted Grove’s overall record to 11-8.
In other baseball action, Edison defeated Downey 2-0 behind Caden Aoki’s two-hit, six-inning pitching stint. He struck out five batters and yielded two hits. The Chargers are 14-7.
