A discussion on the idea of flying the rainbow-colored LGBT flag – also known as the “gay pride” flag – for the month of June at the City Hall is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.
Events observing the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall incidents are planned for across the nation.
Also on the agenda are:
- the re-branding of the former “Buy BIGG” local shopping program as “Think BIGG,” as well as consideration of a new vehicle rebate program for Garden Grove residents;
- transmittal of the 2019 Downtown Parking Management Strategic Plan.
The council will meet in its chambers in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
