PAINTING a classic Caddy was part of the fun on Saturday at the Village Green on March 6, 2019. There will be different fun this year (OCT photo).
For a second year the City of Garden Grove, in collaboration with the Garden Grove Unified School District, will transform Village Green Park into an outdoor, interactive art festival for the Annual Art in the Park. The community is invited to attend the free event on Saturday, March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Main and Euclid streets.
The Paint and Sip activity is $15 per person and will be offered twice during the Art in the Park event. Times are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is limited to 50 participants per session. To register, visit ggcity.org/artintheparkhttp://bit.ly/garden-grove-paint-and-sip.
Art in the Park will also feature a number of other interactive craft booths; live performances from GGUSD students; and a 6-foot high by 50-foot long temporary art installation of the word “RE:IMAGINE,” designed by GGUSD intermediate and high school students.
