Woman’s body found in parked car

THE BODY OF a 45-year-old woman was found in a car parked on Magnolia Street by Garden Grove police (Shutterstock).

The body of a 45-year-old woman seated in a car was discovered by police Sunday morning in Garden Grove.

According to Lt. Rich Burillo of the GGPD, at 9:15 a.m. officers found the woman in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle in the 12300 block of Magnolia Street. That’s between Lampson Avenue and Chapman Avenue, not far from Hare School/Park.

The cause of death is still undetermined although the preliminary investigation doesn’t indicate foul play.

Personal information about the woman is not being released until the next of kin is notified. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call GGPD Investigations at (714) 741-5800.
