New corona cases top 100 again

New confirmed cases of coronavirus are again in triple figures, according to Sunday’s report by the Orange County Health Care Agency.

According to the OCHCA, 107 more cases have been reported, bringing the number of to-date cases to 2,743. There were no deaths, leaving that total at 52.

Three of the past four days have daily totals of 100 or more, with the fourth being at 99.  Six of the past nine days have hit 100 or higher.

A total of 187 coronavirus cases are currently hospitalized, with 58 now in an intensive care unit.

The agency also reported that 1,597 tests were reported, with the total at 36,813.

Santa Ana remains the city with the most confirmed cases at 519, followed by Anaheim (401), Huntington Beach (228), Irvine (136) and Garden Grove (126).

Local cities Westminster and Stanton have 47 and 28 cases respectively.
