A program allowing “temporary outdoor emergency commercial activity” on public and private property goes before the Huntington Beach City Council when it meets on Monday.
A temporary use permit could allow restaurants to expand their outdoor dining space, as well as allow temporary sign and banner uses.
Also on the agenda are:
- an update on the status of the Ascon landfill site.
- an update on the city’s response plan to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- an update on July 4 activities.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. with a study session on the proposed 2020-2021 city budget, followed by a closed session, then the regular session at 6 p.m. It will be recorded and broadcast live from the council chambers at 2000 Main St.
