Coronavirus count over 200 again

For the first time since the counting began, the number of confirmed new coronavirus cases in Orange County has hit 200 or more for two days in a now.

According to the county Health Care Agency, the number of new cases in its Saturday report was 274. following 296 the day before.

The total number of cases to date is at 7,321. Two deaths are in the report, bringing the to-date total to 176.  The OCHCA also reports that 282 people are now hospitalized with COVID-19, with 122 in intensive care units.

Of the cases counted so far, 3,156 are considered recovered.

The city count shows Santa Ana remains the city with the most infections recorded with 1,438, followed by Anaheim (1,297), Garden Grove (409), Huntington Beach (365) and Orange (320).

Westminster has 164 and Stanton 88.
