he number of confirmed new cases of the coronavirus in Orange County was reported at 479 on Friday, the second-highest number since counting began.
The total to-date number of cases is now at 11,960, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. Of that number, 6,763 are considered to be recovered.
New deaths were reported Friday at 17, bringing the total number of fatalities to 323.
There are 451 cases currently hospitalized, of which 166 are in intensive care units.
