Saturday COVID count is at 513

Saturday’s total of new COVID-19 cases reported to the Orange County Health Care Agency is 513, down from 683 the day before. There were 20 deaths, the same as 20 on Friday. The new to-date total for Orange County cases is 43,367, of which 34,115 are considered recovered. The death toll is 809.

The test positivity rate is 6.7 percent, down from 7.2 percent the day before and below the goal of 8 percent. “Positivity” refers to that portion of people who are tested and end up being positive for the coronavirus, regardless of symptoms.

Here is the list of the OC cities with the most cases. Deaths are in parentheses.

• Santa Ana: 8,469 (208).
• Anaheim: 7,390 (188).
• Garden Grove: 2,362 (40).
• Orange: 1,997 (31).
• Huntington Beach: 1,914 (56).

Westminster has 807 cases with 21 deaths; Stanton has 535 cases and eight deaths.
