A 47-year-old Anaheim woman was fatally shot Thursday afternoon, according to police.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, officers responded to the 1800 block of W. Glen Avenue at about 4 p.m. to investigate a report of a shooting. They found Julia Diana Borboa, an Anaheim resident, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives believe the shooting to be gang-related and are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the APD’s Homicide Detail at (714) 321-3669.
