A site plan for operation of a new drive-through restaurant – 7 Leaves Café – at the southeast corner of Chapman Avenue and Harbor Boulevard was approved by the Garden Grove Planning Commission at its meeting on Sept. 17.
Also, then planners:
- issued a letter of denial to applicants asking for a conditional use permit for a new liquor store at 13911 Harbor Blvd. (at Westminster Avenue);
- approved a conditional use permit to allow an existing Holiday Inn Express hotel to operate with a beer and wine liquor sales license for the lobby of a gift shop for the sale of canned and bottled beer, as well as a liquor license for the breakfast/bar area on the ground floor with indoor seating and the service of pre-made snack foods.
Planners were also told the hotel would be re-branded to the Wyndom Hotels chain.
