CORONAVIRUS CASES IN Orange County are up for the third consecutive day

The number of new coronavirus cases in Orange County has risen for the third consecutive day, according to Sunday’s report from the county health care agency.

Two hundred eighty-three new COVID-19 positive cases were in Sunday’s tally, compared to 239 on Saturday. However, there were no deaths reported, compared to five the day before.

The number of cases currently hospitalized is at 155, down from 160 the day before. The number of cases in intensive care units was unchanged at 47.

Sunday’s tally shows 54,640 cumulative cases for Orange County, and 1,286 deaths.
