Decorum, bike business on agenda

An ordinance aiming at good behavior at public meetings and in the civic center will be considered by the Huntington Beach City Council when it meets on Monday evening.

The proposed ordinance would feature a resolution related to “rules of civility and decorum” for council and commission meetings and in the “campus” of the council chamber.

Also on the agenda are:

• a request by Mayor Pro Tem Jill Hardy to consider appointing Councilmember Kim Carr as mayor pro tem for the remainder of the year.
• an ordinance prohibiting repairs and sales of bicycles and bicycle parts on public property.

The council will meet electronically at 6 p.m.
