Slight increases in new coronavirus cases and deaths were noted in Wednesday’s report by the Orange County Health Care Agency.

The count for new COVID positive cases was 144, compared to 138 on Tuesday. Deaths reported on Wednesday were three, up from two.

The total number of cases now hospitalized is 183, up from 176 on Tuesday. Cases currently in intensive care units are now 64, up from 63.

Cumulative cases to date in the OC are at 55,042, of which 49,303 are considered recovered. There have been 1,292 deaths.
