New cases of coronavirus in Orange County dropped sharply on Saturday’s report from the county health care agency.
The latest tally of new COVID-19 infection is at 164, down from Friday’s 276. Deaths were at eight, up from seven on Saturday.
Hospitalizations from the coronavirus are at 148, down from 182. Those in intensive care because of COVID-19 are at 58, down from 61.
Here is a list of the Orange County cities with the most cases. Deaths are in parentheses.
- Santa Ana: 11,543 (317)
- Anaheim: 10,326 (318)
- Garden Grove: 3,290 (109)
- Orange: 2,776 (71)
- Huntington Beach: 2,622 (86).
Westminster had 1,168 cases and 31 deaths. Stanton has 727 cases and 17 deaths.
