A special meeting of the Westminster City Council has been called for Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. for the purpose of considering appointment of a city manager.
The closed session meeting will be held via web conference from the Miriam Warne Community Building, 14491 Beach Blvd. in Westminster.
In an unrelated action, the agenda for Wednesday night’s meeting of the city council has been amended to remove two items: considering passing an ordinance allowing for outdoor dining at city restaurants, and another on the issuance of parking citations.
Both issues were rendered moot by Gov. Gavin Newsom’s announcement Monday that he was lifting both the ban on outdoor dining and the “Stay At Home” order.
