A SUSPECTED cat burglar wanted in at least two incidents in Garden Grove was arrested in Paramount (Shutterstock).
Garden Grove detectives on the trail of a “cat burglar” followed the trail and collared a “feline” suspect on Thursday.
According to Sgt. Evan Beresford of the GGPD, the sequence of events began on Tuesday at around 2 p.m. when officers were sent to a home in the 10000 block of Trask Avenue, near Brookhurst Street, regarding a cat burglary in progress. When police arrived, the suspect had fled, but surveillance video of him was obtained.
Detectives were able to locate a possible suspect in Paramount, and made a positive identification of Marcos DeJesus in the 8000 block of Third Street. He was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana for the Garden Grove burglaries as well as several outstanding burglary warrants.
