A report on the three nights of violence that hit the beaches and downtown area last week will be presented on Tuesday to the Huntington Beach City Council.
Also on the agenda will be adoption of a municipal budget for 2021-2022. The proposed budget totals $424,421,323, including general fund expenditures of $227,980,486.
A new position added this year is a deputy director of homeless and behavioral services for the police department at an annual expense of $253,991.
This meeting will be the first held on a schedule of first and third Tuesdays, instead of Mondays. It will be held in person with limited public attendance, beginning at 6 p.m. A virtual version will be available via Zoom.
