Three such events are scheduled for Tuesday night. Here’s a brief recap of what’s on the agenda for the upcoming meetings. Another is scheduled for Wednesday and one more on Thursday.
- Garden Grove City Council: Agenda items include a six-month extension of the Accessible Business Program, which would continue to authorize outdoor dining, and the first reading of an ordinance allowing a Raising Cane’s eatery to be included as part of a planned unit development on Harbor Boulevard featuring hotel uses. Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. In-person format. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
- Stanton City Council: The top item is the possibility of allowing for residential and commercial permit parking within Districts Three and Four. Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. Virtual format.
- Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees: The board will consider a proposal to rescind certain previously approved reductions and eliminations in adult school services, including related layoffs and terminations. Tuesday, 6 p.m. In-person. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
- Westminster City Council: An update on the city contract with a lobbying firm, and a proposal to limit the authority of the city manager to spend money without approval of the city council, reducing it from $180,000 to $50,000. Wednesday at 7 p.m., virtual format.
- Westminster School District Board of Trustees: Board will recognize the WSD’s “Administrator of the Year” and consider a proposal to increase the monthly pay for members of the board by 5 percent, which is $14.59. Thursday at 7 p.m. Virtual format.
