New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed “multiple” women and sought to retaliate against those who accused him, an investigation has determined. The report was released Tuesday.
Cuomo has denied such accusations and rebuffed calls for him to resign. “I never touched anyone inappropriately,” Cuomo said Tuesday and called the investigation “biased,” reports The New York Times.
After the report was made public, President Joe Biden urged Cuomo to resign.
Vaccinated? In NYC you may have to prove it
How do you get people who are hesitant about or hostile to getting vaccinated? In New York City, the latest tactic is to require proof of vaccination if you want to dine indoors, work out at the gym or settle into a seat at a Broadway play, you must be able to present evidence of having been inoculated against the coronavirus.
“It’s time for people to see vaccination as literally necessary to living a full and healthy life,” said Mayor Bill DeBlasio on Tuesday, according to the New York Daily News. Enforcement of the order is expected to begin in mid-September.
