The Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 will work for children ages 5 to 11 years old, the company announced on Monday.
The Food and Drug Administration has said it will study Pfizers’ test results and expects to decide within weeks whether the vaccine is safe and effective for that age group.
According to the AP, over 5 million American children have tested positive for coronavirus since the pandemic began and at least 460 have died.
Trudeau will stay as Canada’s prime minister
According to Canadian TV news reports, Trudeau – who became the nation’s political leader in 2015 – will be able to combine the seats of his party with other, smaller parties and retain his post.
He is the son of Pierre Trudeau, who served two terms as prime minister, from 1968-1979 and 1979-1984.
