STANTON CITY COUNCIL on Tuesday approved hiring a firm to conduct a “community needs assessment” (File photo).
In an effort to better gauge public sentiment on how to spend the $9.12 million awarded to the city through the American Rescue Plan Act, the Stanton City Council on Tuesday night voted 5-0 to approve an agreement to conduct a survey.
The ARPA money from the federal government must be spent by the end of 2024.
