Three local girls’ high school basketball teams won their first round CIF-SS games and advance to the second round on Wednesday.
In Division 3A, Westminster (now 16-10) defeated Bassett 71-24. 5A play saw Magnolia (13-12) best Geffen by 50-24 and Orange (10-8) won 39-25 against Calvary Chapel of Downey.
