It looks like Mike Trout has fully recovered, but the Los Angeles Angels haven’t.
After trailing 4-2, the Birds regained the lead with three runs in the top of the seventh.
The Angels are now 8-7 and fell into second place in the American League West, a game back of the Seattle Mariners (9-6).
They’ll play the final game of the series today (Sunday) at 1:07 p.m. Jose Suarez (0-1) will get the start for LA.
Dodgers lose, but retain lead
The San Diego Padres scored a run in bottom of the 10th inning Saturday at Petco Park to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2. Despite the loss, the Blue Crew remain atop the National League West with a 10-4 record, a half-game ahead of the San Francisco Giants.
Trea Turner tied the game up with a two-run double in the eighth for LA. The game winner came in the bottom of the 10th when a bunt advanced “ghost runner” C.J. Abrams to third, and a sacrifice fly brought him home.
The series will wrap up today at 1:10 p.m. with Clayton Kershaw (2-0) making the start for the Dodgers.
