“Hit and run” vehicle, driver sought
Santa Ana police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver involved in a May 2020 fatal accident.
A male was found down in the street with “major trauma.” He was treated at the scene and pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation indicated the victim was walking or jogging in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle headed north on Raitt. The auto was “possibly” a white sedan which fled the scene before police could arrive. Neither the driver or the vehicle have been identified.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Investigator N. Quinones at (714) 245-8284.
