The budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year was approved by the Stanton City Council on Tuesday night.
The vote was 4-0 with Councilmember Rigoberto Ramirez absent (excused). The proposed plan calls for increasing the cost-of-living adjustment to the city’s salary schedule from 7 percent to 8 percent.
Revenues are projected to exceed expected expenses by $687,235.
The next city council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28.
