Garage fire lasts 20 minutes

Crews from the Orange County Fire Authority needed only 20 minutes to knock down a fire in Garden Grove in the pre-dawn hours of Friday.

According to the OCFA, the blaze was at a house in the 8400 block of Royal Palm Boulevard, a gated community southwest of Orangewood Avenue and Gilbert Street.

The call was received at 3:50 a.m. and firefighters were able to confine the fire to the garage. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
