Three are held on drug charges

Three persons were arrested Sunday in Westminster on drug-related charges.

According to the WPD, an officer stopped two people in the area of Brookhurst Street and McFadden Avenue. Two of them were arrested for possession of narcotics and on a felony warrant.

The third person stopped by the officer was found to be in possession of 1 gram of fentanyl, $500 in cash, a “multitude” of small plastic bags, 60 grams of methamphetamine and 5 grams of cocaine.

He was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale and booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.
