What could be the most intriguing item at Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council will be discussed behind closed doors.

During a closed session of the council, there will be a conference with real property negotiators to “obtain direction regarding the price and terms of payment” for the Garden Grove Plaza building at 12966 Euclid St. (at Garden Grove Boulevard).

That’s a five-story office building – the tallest in the downtown area – built in 1985. It has a square footage of 64,800.

The city is in the process of re-creating the civic center to accommodate a planned new 87,000-square foot police building nearby on Acacia Parkway at Euclid Street.

In the regular open session of the meeting, the council will consider adoption of åa resolution approving the sale agreement for a one-story office building at 11390-11400 Stanford Ave., also in the Civic Center.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting are:

The council will meet in its chambers in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
