A custodian and a teacher were honored as the October Employees of the Month at Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove Unified School District.
Servando Quintana, a custodian at Wakeham Elementary School in Garden Grove, is the classified employee of the month.
My Williamson, a social studies teacher and activities director at Los Amigos High School in Fountain Valley is the certificated employee for October.
The honorees were each featured in a short film, and presented with a certificate and photos with board members and staff.
Also on Tuesday night, a presentation was made on annual data and instruction.
The next meeting of the board will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The GGUSD is a K-12 system serving most of Garden Grove and parts of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
