Israel claims that some Hamas fighters hide in hospitals and other public buildings to avoid air strikes and missile attacks, which Hamas denies.
On Friday Palestinian health officials said that the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip has passed 11,000. The number of Israelis killed since the conflict began on Oct. 7 is put at 1,200 to 1,400, almost all of that since the first day or so.
FBI seizes iPad, phones from Adams
FBI agents, bearing a warrant, have seized Adam’s iPad and two cellphones.
The Justice Department is looking into allegations that his campaign violated campaign finance laws by arranging to have money from the government of Turkey illegally contributed to his campaign.
“I have nothing to hide,” said Adams, a Democrat.

In the college ranks, USC will visit Oregon on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 11, while UCLA will host Arizona State on Saturday at 6 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network.
NFL action on Sunday will see the Chargers host the Detroit Lions at 1:05 p.m. on Channel 2. The Rams have a “bye” and will resume play on Nov. 19 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The outlook for our West Orange County area is for a couple of days in the low 80s and a couple of days in the mid-and-high 70s.
Saturday’s forecast is for a daytime high of 82, and an overnight low of 50 with sunny weather. Sunday will be similar at 82 (53) with mostly sunny skies. Monday will see a dip to 75 (51) with mostly cloudy skies, followed by 77 (53) and partly cloudy conditions.
