$1.5 million fire is put down

A three-alarm fire in an industrial building in Westminster did an estimated $1.5 million in damage on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the fire was contained to the initial unit, Weststate Cleaners, located at 15102 Weststate St., near Asian Garden Mall.

Damage to the structure was estimated at $1 million and $500,000 to the contents.

There are no injuries and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
